Mother's Day in the mountains...
After the dedication, we enjoyed a wonderful day in the mountains near Buena Vista, CO with my mother. We threw lots of rocks in to a Colorado stream, and then helped my mom get settled at Frontier Ranch for "work week". She helps the camp get ready for the summer campers -- has done it 7 years, and loves it! Kids had a BLAST running around the camp, slurping down ice cream delights, and running through the forests. Enjoyed a fun dinner together on our way home, but sweet Bella got carsick and puked 7 times before we arrived back at the house. Poor girl!

What a morning we had... so many friends and family members joined us to celebrate this milestone in our children's lives. It was my favorite Mother's Day EVER!

Easter 2009
We sat in a FREEZING cold snow storm at Fiddler's Green to worship our risen Lord on Easter morning with the rest of our church. What a wild 1.5 hours, but how warming to our spirits! Then we headed down to Nanna and Poppa's house to enjoy a yummy brunch, the Resurrection Eggs tradition, and the annual Easter Egg Hunt -- Bella and Bode's first! Boy, did THAT go over well!
